Hi @stefan, You register to use Pymate as each instance of Pymate connects to our MQTT server which, in turn allows you to control your WiPy over WiFi. This requires us to add a lay of authentication to stop non-Pycom devices from taking resources from the server and use it for alternative means. Thanks, Alex

@smssms I feel like I may be with you on this one I have yet to find a combination of H/W Firmware and tooling that is reliable. I wanna believe. It looks so promising and so close yet just not quite ready I think.
